One of the most typical questions I get about manifesting is, “Why isn’t it working for me?”

Unfortunately, achieving our objectives isn’t always as simple as we’d want!

It’s fairly common for newcomers and even seasoned veterans! to encounter (seemingly) problems along the way.

To begin with, don’t be scared! The more you worry over your failed magic, the more difficult it will be to get back on track! Then take heart: there’s always a positive step you can take toward achieving your objectives.

It is possible to learn how to manifest. We’re partnering with the Universe to shape our future; it’s a type of art. I can give you all the advice in the world, but how well you manage your own energy is the most important factor.

So, with that in mind, today’s post is all about troubleshooting and getting your manifesting practise back on track:

 

STEP ONE:  RECALCULATE YOUR MANIFESTATION IF IT IS FAILING.

First and foremost, it’s time to check in with yourself. Think about what you want to accomplish. Consider how it would make you feel if your desire came true. Then consider whether you’re still devoted to that goal. Is it still a happy place for you?

After all, it should!

Remember that you are not the same person you were yesterday (nor are you the same person you will be tomorrow). We have no way of knowing what the optimal course of action will be in the future. Allow your objectives to shift if necessary. They may need to shift quickly from time to time, so don’t be surprised if this occurs.

The first concern when something “goes wrong” is to make sure you’re still on the right course.

Ask for something different if your intentions are no longer in sync! You don’t have to hold to anything that isn’t serving you any longer.

 

STEP TWO:  ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.

In the presence of manifesting energy, fear and concern are incompatible. So, think about how you feel about the request you’ve made. If you’re having more bad sentiments about your goal than positive feelings, it’s time to make a change.

Make an energy intervention for yourself! Begin expressing extreme gratitude. We will be able to get away from our frightened thinking faster if we can be appreciative for what we already have. Remember to be grateful for the water in your faucet, the hot shower you can take, and the comfortable bed you sleep in, even if you feel far away from your goal. Play a game of gratitude with yourself to see how thankful you can be in one day.

 

STEP 3:  DO NOT LOCK THE ENTRANCE DOOR.

Are your actions in line with your objectives? This isn’t always the case in practise, though. Many of us (including myself) believe and claim to desire certain things while acting in ways that contradict our desires.

So, be honest with yourself: have you left the door open for good things to come your way? In the throes of a Netflix binge, you can beg the world for anything, but only a few things will appear. (Wow, that door is slammed shut!)

The Universe is chasing motion and feverishly trying to catch up with you. So, please, be gentle with yourself. Make an attempt to make some room for the Universe to respond.

 

STEP FOUR:  FEEL, RATHER THAN THINK.

The heart, not the brain, is where manifestation begins. Before you can receive, you must first believe.

It’s time to check in with yourself again, because feeling is the most important thing. Can you imagine what it’ll be like to get the job, win the contest, or get the girl? If you can’t, it’s time to put in a little extra work.

Even if there is no evidence, even if your dream appears insane to others, believing always comes first. Your own manifesting superpower is belief. And if you don’t believe in what you’re asking for, change your desire to something you do.

 

STEP FIVE:  RELEASE.

Remember to let go and not get caught up in the minutiae. To put it another way, you can establish an intention but don’t get too caught up in the how. The Universe is far more intelligent than we are! You can get what you desire in a million different ways. Don’t try to be in charge of everything that occurs.

Are you attempting to force things to happen in a certain way? If that’s the case, you’re not allowing much opportunity for the Universe to surprise you. Try letting go of a certain event or date if you’re attached to it. Allow some space for the magic to work its magic.

 

STEP SIX:  SEEK EVIDENCE.

Your wishes will occasionally come crashing down from the sky, almost hitting you square in the face. Things aren’t always as evident. Energy follows a pattern, and signs might appear long before our true intentions manifest. The tides can start to turn in little, almost unnoticeable ways at times. However, by focusing on those small events, we magnify and attract more of them. So, begin searching for “proof” everywhere around you. If you retain an open mind, there will always be some.
