Simply said, the Law of Attraction states that we attract into our life whatever our dominating thoughts are focused on. To put it another way, if we concentrate on plenty, answers, and great outcomes, we will attract more of the same into our lives. Nice!

However, there is a risky side to this law: if we focus on lack, troubles, and negative outcomes, we will attract more of the same.

Earl Nightingale is a name you’ve probably heard of. Earl, who is now known as the “Father of Modern Self-Help,” produced a record called “The Strangest Secret” while working in the insurance industry in the mid-1950s. The goal of this record was to provide his workers some instruction while he was away on business. Earl’s oddest secret was this:

“The majority of the time, we become what we think about!”

This “secret” nicely matches with the Law of Attraction and serves as a continual reminder that we must learn to manage our thoughts. To be honest, the only thing we have complete control over in life is our own thoughts. The issue is to keep them under control and prevent them from becoming enraged.

Look no further than your own life for proof of the Law of Attraction’s effectiveness. Have you ever experienced a day when everything seems to be going wrong? We’ve all had those days, from the chilly shower to the burnt toast to the traffic penalty on the way to work, to the grumpy boss, to the tough customer. It all starts with our mind set.

The initial unfavourable encounter is drawn to us by our mental patterns. This terrible event then places us in a negative mind set, which attracts more “poor” occurrences. The more we concentrate on our “poor day,” the worse things become!

Our frame of reference must be shifted as a solution. Change the negative feelings to happy or neutral ones. In each situation, look for the lesson. Another excellent method to shift our perspective is to learn to laugh at ourselves. Things will almost immediately start to turn around if we break the pattern of negativity.

You Have Options

There are two things you can do right now to begin using the Law of Attraction’s incredible power:

  1. Ask yourself, “Do I focus on scarcity or abundance (or, to put it another way, “Am I problem-focused or solution-focused”)?” If you replied ‘Lack / Problems,’ adjust your frame of reference right now. Make constructive and solution-oriented changes to your routines and mental processes.

  1. Accept complete responsibility for all that is going on in your life, good or bad. You have drawn both the good and the bad, so accepting responsibility will give you the freedom to modify your mind set.

Positive thinking will not fix all of your problems on its own, but it is one of a number of strategies that we can all use to go on the path to living the life we desire.

Conclusion:

Our ideas, emotions, and sentiments attract situations into our lives like a powerful magnet. The way we think determines whether these circumstances are positive or unfavourable!
